Wait...Who is Actually Making My Flowers?
Local Florist vs. Wire Service

Written by E4 Arrangements

Okay, remember when I said we needed to talk about this?

It's time!!!!!

You Google “flowers near me,” find a beautiful website, place your order and assume the company you just ordered from is somewhere nearby making your flowers.

But sometimes…

They're not!!!

So What Is a Flower Wire Service?

So when I call E4 an online florist, “online” describes how you shop with me; not where your order goes.

Some large flower companies operate through networks of florists.

You place an order through the big company's website, and that order may be sent to a participating local florist in the recipient's area to actually design and deliver it.

So the website where you BOUGHT the flowers and the florist who MADE the flowers may be two completely different businesses.

That doesn't automatically make it bad.

But I think customers should understand how it works.

So How is E4 Different

This is where the word “online” can get a little confusing.

We, E4 Arrangements is an independent local florist with a closed floral studio in Dallas, Georgia.

My studio isn't open for walk-in shopping or customer traffic. Instead, customers order through my website or contact me directly.

But here's the important part:

Your order comes directly from us.

I'm not connected to a wire service, and I'm not receiving your order from a national flower company.

I design the arrangement here in my local studio, and your flowers are delivered within the areas I serve.

Is One Way Better Than the Other?

That's really for you to decide.

There are reasons someone may choose a large national flower company, just like there are reasons someone may prefer working directly with an independent local florist.

I simply think customers should know the difference.

If working directly with the florist matters to you, take a minute before ordering to see who you're purchasing from.

Look for an actual local service area. Check their social media. Look at their work. See whether you can contact the florist directly.

And if you're not sure?

Ask.

There's nothing wrong with wanting to know who's actually making something you're sending to someone you care about.

That's What “Local Online Florist” Means for Me

E4 doesn't have a traditional storefront where you walk in and browse.

But there is a real florist behind the website.

There's a real studio.

And there's usually me somewhere in the background with an apron on trying to figure out where I put my scissors. 😂

That's E4.

Local florist. Closed studio. Easy online ordering.

Now you know the difference and you can decide which type of flower service works best for you.
